***A bike ride with mama...to the arboretum and we checked out all the turtles!!***

Christian's new look

I caved...just entering into the hot summer days..I felt bad for the poor little guy.

Here is my little boy, just as sweet as can be.

And here...is the grown up little boy, that has the most ornery look!

Goodness gracious..he's too funny.

He's saying, "I look like Mitchell!"

I said, rhetorically, "where did my baby go???" as I was cutting his hair.

He turned to me and said, "I'm right here mama!!"

Good to know..no matter what the look, he'll always be my baby :)

Fathers Day

We had our own special Father's Day Sunday.

We had church in Mom and Dad's basement, followed by brunch...YUM!!!

Here are the Daddy's...

Oh my...all these fellas are quite special in one way or another (too bad we didn't take this before Tim & Carissa had to leave for the airport!)

Ah, yes...there it is..the normal for these guys!

And since I didn't get any on the actual day...I needed to include a couple of the Daddy that lives here with his little boy!

Christian loves his Daddy very much...

he often calls on him to fix things in the "repair shop"

he usually has him tuck him in at night...Daddy knows the right songs

he helps him do projects that involve tools

he wants to be "BIG and STRONG like Daddy!!"

I'm so grateful for Ben..and his ability to be such a good Daddy. 

I have no doubt he will be able to help train our boys how to be respectful, hard working men, God-loving men like he is.

Thank God for Daddy's...as he is the best kind, the Heavenly One!

Camp fire, water park, nails, and sparklers

The week brought special fun things with the family...

Sunday night we had a campfire...in the highest form of classiness one can imagine!

Our fire master himself, Ben...enjoying a hot dog fired to perfection!

Then there's me..belly and all, with the scrap wire in the background.

And then there's Mom...sitting on the most comfortable seat.

Regardless of how it looked, it was fun to have a wienie roast and smores!!

Then Monday...we (women and kids) went to the water park.

Wednesday..we went to get our nails done..Ava too!

Poor Alyssa had 6 stitches in her foot the day before, so no pedicure for her..but luckily her hands were good to go for a manicure :)

Ava got the rainbow on her hands and feet...too fun!

On Saturday we topped off our week with sparklers after supper..we all enjoyed them, even Grandpa!

Kansas Electric Open House

The open house for Kansas Electric...what a good day to celebrate!

I'm so proud of my Dad for many reasons, and today was definitely one of them.
